Kaua‘i Pasta’s ‘Italian Cream Soda’

Kaua‘i Pasta in Lihu‘e serves some amazing Italian food, fine wine and a cold Italian beer. But it’s the “Italian Cream Soda” that will transport you right to the streets of Rome.

Christina Banach, with her positive personality, is always spreading happy memories with the cream sodas she prepares. They come in 12 different flavors.

Christina swears it’s the adults who order it the most, and quite often they even have it for dessert.

The Kaua‘i Pasta in Lihu‘e is located in The Garden Island Publishing Company historic building, the original location of The Garden Island newspaper. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Lunch ends at 5 p.m.

For New Years’ Eve, Kaua‘i Pasta is preparing a special menu, but will keep the same hours. For more information on the special celebration, give them a ring at 245-2227.

Pour the syrup, fill the glass with ice, then pour the soda waterand the heavy whipping cream. Top it with whipped cream, and getready for some Italian romance.
