LIHU‘E — A new gallery is opening at Kukui‘ula Village shopping center in Po‘ipu, called Halele‘a: The Art of Hawaiian Living. The opening reception for artists featured is from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Halele‘a: The Art of Hawaiian Living offers a unique and contemporary view of Hawaiian artists and designers, a press release states.
“All of our artwork, furniture, sculptures, wood bowls, jewelry and clothing will be original, one-of-a-kind pieces designed by artists of Hawai‘i,” said shop manager Anna Ulmer.
Halele‘a artists include Frank Pullano, Cher McMacken, Derek Glaskin, Jennifer Prince, Liedeke Bulder, Pepe, Robin McCoy and Steve Mei.
