LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Toastmasters recently celebrated the induction of its new officers, a news release states.
Donna Olivas-Kaohi is the new president of Kaua‘i Toastmasters. She has three vice presidents. Ann Marie Alo is the vice president of education, Diane Forsyth is vice president of membership, and Moksha McClure is vice president of public relations.
Other officers installed were: Stacie Nelson, secretary; John Kaohelaulii, treasurer; and Thomas Lodico, sergeant at arms.
Kaua‘i Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people overcome their fear of public speaking and improve their communication skills.
Meetings are held from noon to 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the Liquor Control Conference Room 3 of the round building in Lihu‘e. The public is invited to attend.
