Geraldine Largo Kawamura of Waimea died July 20, 2010 at her home at age 62. Born on April 12, 1948, in Lahaina, Maui, she was a general cashier with Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Bisitasion Largo; brother Napolean Jamero; sisters Judy Hanohano and Dolly Baybayan.
She is survived by her husband Wilfred “Miyuki” Kawamura; son Keenan Kawamura of Oakland, Calif.; hanai sons Vail Tompkins of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lloyd Palmeira of Kapa‘a; daughters Tammy (Sonny) Cacal of Lihu‘e, Kimberly (Darren) Cummings of Lihu‘e and Terri (Kendrick) Nemoto of Kahului; hanai daughters Robyn Bernaldes, Kristi (Michael) Rita of Kalaheo and Renae Wa‘alani of Lihu‘e; 33 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; father Rufo Radona of Lihu‘e; mother-in-law Koharu Kawamura of Waimea; brothers Joe (Ivy) Jamero of Pearl City, Rudy (Winnie) Largo of ‘Ewa Beach, James (Rosaline) Largo of Kekaha, Chris (Rose) Largo of Makaweli, Gary (Lee) Largo of Waipahu and Les (Corrine) Largo of ‘Aiea; and sister Amparo Abalos of Makaweli.
Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 31, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.

Gary K. “Cowboy” Claunch Sr. died July 25, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 55. He was born on Nov. 12, 1954, in Oakland, Calif.
He is survived by his sons Gary Claunch Jr. of Wichita, Kan.; daughters Brandi Dennis of Wichita, Kan., and Andrea Claunch of Wickenburg, Ariz.; three grandchildren; mother Marie Dennis; stepdad Boyde Dennis; stepmom Elaine Claunch Handy; brothers Gene Claunch of Lihu‘e; and stepsister Kathey Johnson of Mariposa, Calif.
Memorial service at 2 p.m., on Aug. 6, at Salt Pond Beach Park. Bring instruments and potluck food.
Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
