LIHU‘E — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has scheduled a free information and proposal-writing workshop for those interested in applying for participation in NOAA programs, states a press release.

The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 20 at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort Jasmine Ballroom near Hanama‘ulu, and the registration deadline is July 18, the release states.
The workshop will feature information on the various funding programs through NOAA, with program representatives on hand to answer questions.
Under contract with NOAA, The Catalyst Group, LLC, an organizational consulting, research, and training company based in Honolulu, is organizing and conducting the workshops across statewide locations.
The workshop is for individuals, community members, organizations, and related businesses interested in NOAA programs and funding opportunities, to learn about and develop competitive proposals for NOAA funding opportunities in Hawai‘i and throughout the Pacific, states the release.
