Fay M. Honjo of Lihu‘e died June 19, 2010, at her home at age 66.
Born on July 30, 1943, in Hanapepe, she was a clerk with MidPac Auto Center, formally known as Garden Island Motors.
She is survived by her husband Herbert Honjo; daughters Tammie (Russell) Uyeda of Honolulu, Mitzi (Wade) Yamamoto of Koloa and Paige (Cleve) Javier of Lihu‘e; six grandchildren; sisters Edith Ko of Las Vegas, Linda Momohara and Janice Momohara both of Hanapepe; brothers-in-law Richard Shiraishi of Honolulu and Anthony Jim of Hanapepe; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from noon to 2 p.m., service at 2 p.m., on Friday, June 25, at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion. Burial to follow.
Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
Marilyn Henslee
Marilyn Holland Henslee of Kapa‘a died June 16, 2010, at age 61. Born in Carroll, Iowa on May 7, 1949, she was a teacher and an accomplished artist.
She is survived by her mother, brother, six sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.

Gloria Agcaoili
Gloria Acosta Robles Agcaoili of Koloa died June 1, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 70.
Born on June 28, 1939, in Brgy. #4, San Simon, Bacarra, IN, Philippines, she was a vendor for Sunshine Market.
She was preceded in death by her husband Florencio Agcaoili; parents Tomas Sr. and Feliciana Robles; brothers Buenaflor Robles Sr. and Imperial Robles; brother-in-law Manuel Agcaoili and sister-in-law Rosalina Robles.
She is survived by her children Albert (Jayne) Agcaoili of Koloa, Noel (Jeanalyn) Agcaoili of Lihu‘e, Oliver Agcaoili of Koloa, James Agcaoili of Koloa, Filmer (Valerie) Agcaoili of Waimea and Denley (Ama) Agcaoili of Honolulu; four grandchildren; brothers Bienvenido Robles of Koloa and Tommy (Benelyn) Robles of Milpitas, Calif.; sisters Erlinda Agcaoili of ‘Ele‘ele and Bonnie (Romulo) Balbin of Lihu‘e; sisters-in-law Domie Robles and Felicidad Robles; numerous brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wake service from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 25, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Visitation at 8 a.m., Mass to be celebrated by Father Edison Pamintuan at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 26, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens, Kapaia.

Gilbert Cardenas
Gilbert “Gil” Franklin Cardenas of Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i, died June 4, 2010, at Kona Community Hospital at age 55.
Born on Jan. 8, 1955, in Alamosa, Colo., he was a master heavy equipment mechanic for American Machinery and a fisherman.
He is survived by his companion Natasha Katouzian of Kailua-Kona; mother Theresa Chavez of Florence, Colo.; son Jeremy (Emely Chacon) Fowler of Alamosa, Colo.; daughters Amy (Logan) Hansen of Alamosa, Colo., and Amber (Eddie Cervantes) Pherigo of Tucson, Ariz.; brother Albert Cardenas of Florence, Colo.; sisters Elaine (Adolph) Rodriguez of Florence, Colo., and Christine Solano of Florence, Colo.; seven grandchildren; hanai daughters Maryan Zarbafi of London, England and Marjon (Sean) White of Kaua‘i; two hanai grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held in Kona and Colorado.
Arrangements are being handled by Cremation Services of West Hawai‘i.
Kazuto Nakamura
Kazuto “Naka” Nakamura of Kapa‘a died May 29, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 88.
Born on Feb. 26, 1922, in Aiea, he was a carpenter/foreman.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Nakamura; parents Chokichi and Suma (Ishida) Nakamura; and sisters Tatsue and Matsue (Tomioka).
He is survived by his daughter Renee (Wayne) Sadang; grandchildren Raysha and Waylen Sadang; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces.
Visitation at 10:30 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Honpa Hongwanji Hawai‘i Betsuin in Honolulu.
Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
