•On the front page of Friday’s paper, under the headline “Interdenominational prayer day draws a crowd,” it should have stated that Dr. Monroe Richman of Po‘ipu was never told he couldn’t speak at the National Day of Prayer event in Lihu‘e, and did not ask to speak either. He said Friday he was “offended” by the apparent “exclusionary” nature of the National Day of Prayer gathering, which was billed as a Christian event.
