Don’t forget Chris Fayé and the Kaua‘i Museum (Paul Curtis said they’ve got a beer and wine garden starting around 4 p.m., too!) Lei Day contest, also Saturday.
OK, so much for May Day.
In the meantime, Nelson Batalion is running for re-election and Moksha (how many Moksha’s do you know?) McClure is a first-time candidate for the Associated Students of the University of Hawai‘i at Kaua‘i Community College, elections going on now at KCC.
Kyungsoo Lee (she makes a wicked kim chee!) was thrilled to see the selection of one of her pieces for the KCC One Stop Center made the front page of the Korea Times. If you go to check out the employment fair, you can see her piece hanging. Kyungsoo was checking on the progress of Diane Sater’s art project, and Diane was trying to hurry because she had a Phi Theta Kappa presentation on trash as well as a debate for the ASUH-Kaua‘i candidates to juggle.
OK, ‘nuff said…it’s time to get out to Waimea for volleyball.
