The integrity of the entire process depends on highly able, trusted and objective leaders in your local community who serve on this board, the release says.
Three Kaua‘i residents are being sought to join the local board for your island. Currently, two other volunteers make up this five-member group.
Volunteer board members train once a year by mail or online. Board members must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years old without a criminal record.
