Barbara Oki
Barbara Oki of Oki Diner recently opened the first ramen house on Kaua‘i. Trained by ramen chefs, she has developed secret broth recipes which customers on Kaua‘i and O‘ahu proclaim to be the best tasting ever, according to a press release from the restaurant.
Ramen lovers no longer have to venture to O‘ahu just to have a bowl of ramen served with a variety of toppings and choices of broths such as Shio, Miso and Shoyu. And the ultimate ramen experience includes side orders of Gyoza (pot stickers), Japanese rice and Kara-age chicken, says the release.
