Happy birthday to Judy Lenthall, who celebrated her day before the Kaua‘i County Council and councilman Dickie Chang let the world know about her special day…she even had green on for St. Patrick’s Day!
Kudos to Rob and Lolly Silverman on doing the tent thingie at Rob’s Good Times Grill. The drive through corned beef plates were definitely a hit, and Cindy Bryant of the Lihu‘e Pet Store came to pick up the load for her shop.
Coach Bob Kubota even had corned beef plates for the KIF baseball game at the Ron Martin field. Coach Bob said Kevin Marshall Adkisson made the state qualification for discus at the Velasco meet on O‘ahu last weekend.
Kingsley Simeona (li hing boiled peanuts, anyone?) is back from Africa. He was cruising at the Hanapepe Stadium just about the time his son Joshua is learning how to do the steak and garlic shrimp plates at Times Supermarket. And his daughter was at the softball game, Wednesday in Waimea (she said she’s got li hing peanuts in her frig).
OK, time to go check out the Prince Kuhio canoes at Kalapaki.
