LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a missing person, a county news release states.
Leighna Kerbawy, an 18-year-old student at Kaua‘i Community College, was last seen on March 2 at around 8 a.m. She was driving to school in a 1996 green Chrysler Sebring, license plate KWB-955.
Later that day, Kerbawy called her dad and told him that she planned to go camping for a few days with a friend named Brian.
She has not been seen or heard from since then.
Kerbawy is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 93 pounds. She has brown eyes, shoulder length brown hair, a light tan and a small build.
Kerbawy is of Caucasian descent.
