BBB helps consumers become ‘savvy’

BBB helps consumers become ‘savvy’

Today is the kickoff to National Consumer Protection Week and Better Business Bureau is a supporter of the nationwide effort to help the public become savvier consumers, according to a press release. For anyone looking for advice on how to spend money wisely, Hawai‘i’s BBB is there to help.

During NCPW in Hawai‘i, dozens of local organizations work together to educate consumers on the importance of taking control of their personal finances. Hawai‘i’s BBB will be part of the NCPW Consumer Fair at the King Kalakaua Building Courtyard in Honolulu on Thursday. The theme of this year’s NCPW is Dollars and Sense, Rated A for All Ages and highlights consumer education for every stage of life — from grade school to retirement.
