Noah Thompson was desperate, Monday night. All around the petite guard were relentless Kaua‘i Ballers defenders, and in that moment, the only way out was to launch the ball at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, sinking his only game points with that three-ball.
Noah Sasil, a Papalina-White player, and Jessem Cumlat both appreciated the effort as did Brandon Palacio who played with the Waimea High School boys JV team.
Unfortunately, Jenaiah Banasihan (she had blue toenails in support of Papalina Basketball Club) had already left with Taylor Gaspar, so missed out the feat.
Jenaiah and Brandon are both going to the Coach Dennis Agena basketball clinic since Karen Matsumoto said the Kaua‘i Bus will be doing some runs to take care of kids signed up for the clinic in Kilauea.
Stacey Serquina had a giant pencil, but the feat was so great the pencil couldn’t keep up so she had to revert to a regular-sized writing instrument.
OK, ‘nuff said…it’s time to check out the Grand Buffet at the Kaua‘i Community College. June Tada should be there.
