Marlie Allen and Makayla Valencia cuddle a Kaua‘i Humane Society resident at a past Critter Camp. Monday is the deadline for second to fifth grade students to sign up for this instructive day camp at spring break. A part of the curriculum will include hands on interaction with the Humane Society shelter animals, particularly training of shelter dogs. Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 15, 17 or 19 at Kaua‘i Humane Society. Enrollment is $30 per child with full and partial scholarships available.
