Adoree Sueko Isobe of Lihu‘e died Feb. 3, 2010, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital at age 70. Born on Dec. 29, 1939, in Lihu‘e, she retired from the county of Los Angeles.
She is survived by her companion “Lanky” Iwamoto of Kapa‘a; sisters Florence Kato of Lihu‘e, Margo Iwami and Audris Abella, both of California; brother Toyo Isobe of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held. Family requests no koden.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Rerioterai “Reri” Tava Jobe of Princeville died Feb. 6, 2010, at her home at age 79. Born on May 20, 1930, in Tahiti, she retired as a registered nurse.
She is survived by her companion Peter K. Piilani Sr. of Princeville; daughter-in-law Beckie Yukawa of Kansas; hanai parents Bob and Maile Samitackle of Palm Springs; sister Pua (Don) Ching of Kaua‘i; stepsons Peter (Rabella) Piilani Jr. of Alaska, Kaiser (Len) Piilani of O‘ahu, Mike Gooman Piilani of Alaska, Ruben Piilani of Colorado and Henry Puulei of O‘ahu; stepdaughters Ululani Hoomanawanui and Honey Girl Hoomanawanui both of Kaua‘i; hanai children Jim Hawkins of Kaua‘i, Bill and Laure Marston of Kaua‘i, Jay and Barbara Mahoney of Nevada, Stanton and Inger Pa of Kaua‘i, Richard and Mitsi Swift of Michigan and Lloyd and Patty Chester of Kaua‘i.
Visitation at 9 a.m., services at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Wai‘oli Hui‘ia Church in Hanalei.

Benjamin Napoleon Sr. of Murrieta, Calif., died Jan. 28, 2010, at his home at age 88. Born on May 13, 1921, in Lihu‘e, he was a retired kitchen employee of the former Kaua‘i Surf.
He is survived by his daughter Rose “Ulu” (Keola) Kanehe of Murrieta, Calif.; son Benjamin (Nora) Napoleon Jr. of Kapa‘a; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service from 2 to 6 p.m., on Feb. 21, at 29070 Camino Alba, Murrieta, Calif. Burial and grave side service on March 6, at the Lihu‘e Mill Cemetery.

Tranquilina “Helen” Rivera Lorenzo of Kalaheo died Jan. 5, 2010, at her home at age 79. Born on July 5, 1930, in Makaweli, she was a sales clerk for ‘Ele‘ele Big Save.
She is survived by her sons Juan P. (Gail) Lorenzo Jr. of Kalaheo and Melvin D. (Cyndee) Lorenzo of Honolulu; daughter Cynthia L. (Dan) Albosta of Carlsbad, Calif.; grandchildren Kevin Lorenzo of Honolulu, Celeste Lorenzo of Seattle, Wash., Megan and Bradley Nelmida of Kalaheo, Jessica Greenwalt of Berkeley, Calif., Derek Albosta of Carlsbad, Calif., Mason and Mari Lorenzo of Hanapepe and Klohe Lorenzo of Honolulu; numerous great-grandchildren.

Leatrice “Joyce” Abreu of Kalaheo died Feb. 9, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 72. Born on Oct. 22, 1937, in Makaweli, she was a housekeeper for Kiahuna and Kalaheo Post Office.
She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Vidinha.
She is survived by her husband Henry Abreu; daughters Helen Abreu, Karen (Frank) Hudson, Jocelyn (Evan Vasconcelles) Abreu and Rose (David) Canales; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation at 9 a.m., Mass celebrated at 10 a.m., at Saint Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa.
