LIHU‘E — The U.S. Navy Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands near Kekaha recently provided seven sailors and three civilians as judges for the Third Annual Waimea Canyon Middle School science fair, a base spokesman said.
There were 95 student projects and over 150 students participated, said Tom Clements, PMRF spokesman.
Local business leaders, Adopt-a-School partners and parents also helped judge the projects.
