HANALEI — The Hanalei and Kilauea HI-5 certified redemption centers are closed this week due to a staffing shortage.
Normal operating hours at both centers are expected to resume next week, a county news release states.
The Hanalei center is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays, while the Kilauea center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Both centers operate without any break for lunch.
The closest redemption center to the North Shore is the Kapahi CRC, which is located at 5675B Kawaihau Rd., behind the Menehune Food Mart.
The normal operating hours at the Kapahi center are Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch break from noon to 1:30 p.m.
