LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding five runaways including: Alika Say, age 11, Courtney Say, age 12, Kawehi Akana, age 15, Makela Mahinai-Gonsalves, age 14, and Ruby Octavio, age 15.
The Say children are siblings and are of Hawaiian descent.
According to police, Alika was last seen on Nov. 30 in the early morning while boarding a school bus.
It is believed that he is in the Hanalei area.
Alika is four feet two inches tall and weighs about 63 pounds. He has green eyes, brown hair, a light complexion and a small build.
Courtney was last seen on Nov. 24 at Kapa‘a Middle School where she is a student.
It is also believed that she may be in the Hanalei area.
Courtney is four feet eleven inches tall and weighs about 89 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, a tan complexion and a medium build.
Kawehi was reported missing on Dec. 8.
Kawehi is five feet five inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair.
She is of Hawaiian descent and has a tan complexion and a thin build.
Makela has not been seen since Oct. 2. She is believed to be on the Westside or possibly in Anahola.
Makela is five feet two inches and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.
Makela is of Hawaiian descent and has a tan complexion and a medium build.
Ruby was reported missing on Dec. 8.
Ruby is five feet three inches and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and long brown hair.
Ruby is of Portuguese descent and has a fair complexion and a medium build.
