McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawai‘i has promoted Eric Yamamoto to operations consultant. His responsibilities include leading, coaching and providing direction to the group of restaurants he oversees to improve operations and to maximize long-term sales growth and profitability.
Yamamoto started his career as a crew person at McDonald’s of Manoa in 1997. Since then, he has worked at various locations on O‘ahu. Most recently, he has focused much of his efforts on McDonald’s employee development and training programs on Kaua‘i as the manager of the Waipouli store.
McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawai‘i has 84 restaurants and more than 4,000 employees in Hawai‘i, Guam and Saipan. The company spends approximately $240 million annually in Hawai‘i, the economic impact of which creates nearly 12,500 jobs in the community.
