Felicidad Cagalawan-Silva
Felicidad Villamor Cagalawan-Silva of Kalaheo died March 15, 2009, at her home at age 80. Born on Aug. 18, 1928, in ‘Ele‘ele, she was a homemaker and owner of Kalaheo Bar.
She was preceded in death by her parents Crispolo and Blasa Villamor Cagalawan; Jose; Conchita Esselborn and Henry.
She is survived by her husband Benny Silva; Jolinda Castillo; Rosalia Asuncion and Alvina Klosek.
Services were held.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
Trinidad Calumag
Trinidad Taylan Calumag of Lihu‘e died Nov. 17, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 81. Born on Sept. 23, 1929, in the Philippines, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by Ernesto Calumag Jr.
She is survived by her husband Ernesto Calumag Sr.; brothers Alfredo (Soledad) Taylan, Martin (Anastacia) Taylan and Jesus (Caridad) Taylan; daughters Adoiacion (Armando) Calumag Sinco and Rosalinda Silva; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation at 8:30 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery.

Annie Dias
Annie Sepulvida Dias of ‘Oma‘o died Nov. 27, 2009, at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home at age 89. Born on Oct. 29, 1920, in ‘Ele‘ele, she was a dedicated homemaker.
She is survived by sons Ben (Margie) Castillo of Wailua Homesteads, Bobby (Jan) Castillo of Oregon and Ricky (Nena) Castillo of Kapa‘a; daughters Linda Dias of Kaneohe and Mary Beth (DuWayne) Wolfe of Kapa‘a; 25 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 10 a.m., service at noon, on Monday, Dec. 7, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Yuken Oshiro
Yuken Oshiro of Kekaha died Nov. 21, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 84. Born on Aug. 8, 1925, in Kekaha, he was a welder with Kekaha Sugar.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Oshiro; sons Lloyd (Carol) and Galen (Charlene); daughter Rowena (Dennis) Young; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Albert (Darlene) Oshiro; sisters Ayako Hunt, Katsuko Oshiro, Shigeko Eguchi and Gladys (Seiji) Akasaki; nieces and nephews.
Visitation from 9 to 10 a.m., service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Hanapepe United Church of Christ. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers and koden be omitted.

Violet Castro
Violet Santos Castro of Kane‘ohe died Nov. 20, 2009, in Honolulu at age 69. Born on Feb. 6, 1940, in Makaweli, Kaua‘i, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Castro, Michele Rivadeneyra, Melissa Laleo and Melveen Castro; sons Roy Castro Jr., Kaui Leleo and Gabriel Rivadeneyra; sister Barbara Baliguat; brother Peter “Sonny” Santos Jr.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 7, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Committal service at 2 p.m., at Hawai‘i State Veterans Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested.

Lyons “Curly” Keopuauheelani Perry died Nov. 23, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 40. Born on Oct. 9, 1969, in Honolulu, he was a terminal operator for Chevron Corporation.
He is survived by his parents Maxine Iha and William Perry; wife Vivian Perry; sons Kurt Perry and Kory Perry; daughter Gezmynn (Levi) Viquelia; brothers Kalani Perry, John Perry and Kaipo Perry; sister Anela Delima; grandson Kanale Viquelia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 11, at Koloa Missionary Church. Casual attire is suggested.
