KAPA‘A — The county Department of Water canceled its “Boil Water” notice for residents on Waipouli and Hauiki roads at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after certified laboratory results showed the absence of Fecal coliform or E coli bacteria from samples collected, a county news release states.
Residents are asked to let others in the area know about the boil water cancellation.
DOW officials would like to thank residents on Waipouli and Hauiki Roads for their patience while the department worked to restore water service to the area, the release says.
Officials would also like to acknowledge the state Department of Health for their assistance and the Department of Public Works, Kapa‘a baseyard personnel for providing potable water to area residents.
