HANALEI — The county Department of Water canceled its “Boil Water” notice for Hanalei residents at 3 p.m. Tuesday after certified laboratory results showed the absence of harmful bacteria in samples collected, a county news release says.
Residents are asked to let others in the area know about the boil water cancellation.
DOW officials would like to thank Hanalei residents for their patience as the department worked to restore water service to the area.
Officials would also like to acknowledge Princeville Utilities, the state Department of Health and the American Red Cross for their assistance, as well as the Department of Public Works Hanalei baseyard personnel for providing potable water to Hanalei residents.
