On Friday, more than 100 babies dressed up for the third annual Wilcox Babies Halloween Parade at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, a news release states.
Attendees enjoyed cookies and punch, along with many toys and prizes. Trick-or-treaters ages 5 and under received a reusable bag to collect their goodies. There was a contest for the scariest, most original and cutest costumes. A professional photographer was on site for parents to have pictures taken of their babies.
Babies were able to show off their creative costumes while trick-or-treating throughout the hospital and Kaua‘i Medical Clinic. A number of Wilcox Health employees participated in the annual parade by decorating their department booth, dressing up and giving out candy and other giveaways to the cute (and scary!) visitors.
“This parade is a fun way for us to say thank you to our Wilcox babies and their parents,” says Nena Cardoso, childbirth educator at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. “Everyone was super excited for this year’s event — it was a great success. We are already looking forward to our 4th annual parade next year so mark those calendars!”
