Robert S. Nakamura of Lihu‘e died Sept. 11, 2009, at Straub Hospital at age 74.
He is survived by his wife Betty, sister Mildred, brother Tatsuo and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel.
Myrna Kaholokula
Myrna “Tweet” Kaholokula of Kahului, Maui died Sept. 10, 2009, at her home at age 96. Born on June 18, 1913, in Paia, Maui, she retired as a cannery worker at Maui Land and Pineapple Company. She is survived by her sons Alvin (Lucy) Kaholokula, Jared (Ruth) Kaholokula, Norman (Goldie) Kaholokula; daughter Jacqueline (Bob) Cottrell; sister Chellie Gildersleeve; brother Archie English; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at10:30 a.m., service at 12:30 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 25, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Burial at 2 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are being held at Ballard Family Mortuary.
