KCFCU honors employees
Kaua‘i Community Federal Credit Union recently announced the recipients of the 2009 Semi-Annual KCFCU Employee “I SPY Great Service” Awards Recognition on July 22 before an audience of employees and special guests at Hanama‘ulu Cafe.
The KCFCU Employee Recognition Program is an on-going program designed to formally recognize employees for their commitment in providing great service to members and co-workers. Every year, nominations are made by employees of the credit union with selections based on four Service Categories: Welcome, Serve, Educate and Offer.
Melanie Agayan (Lihu‘e) and Gail Nagato (Ele‘ele) were recognized for outstanding “Welcome” service. Sheryll Bumanglag and Bruce Ten (Lihu‘e) and Terese Dela Cruz (Ele‘ele) were recipients of excellence for the “SERVE” award. “EDUCATE” went to Darcy Reeder and Lani Sonoda (Lihu‘e). Rosemarie Narito (Kapa‘a) and Taylor Shigemoto (Kukui Grove) received honors for great service in the “OFFER” category.
Each recipient received one day of “Paid Time Off,” a certificate of appreciation and special recognition by President/CEO Mel Chiba and the management staff.
