LIHU‘E — The county Department of Parks and Recreation will be participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program from June 15 to July 22, a county news release states.
Meals will be provided at no charge to youngsters who are participating in the county’s Summer Enrichment Program, and will be the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
The meals will be provided at the following sites: Hanapepe Neighborhood Center, noon-12:30 p.m.; Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, 11:15-11:45 a.m.; Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center, 11:15-11:45 a.m.; Kekaha Neighborhood Center, noon-12:30 p.m.; Kilauea Neighborhood Center, 11:30-11:45 a.m.; King Kaumuali‘i Elementary School, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; Koloa Elementary School, 11:30-11:45 a.m.; Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center, noon-12:30 p.m.; Wilcox Elementary School, 11:15-11:45 a.m.
No discrimination will be shown in the course of the meal service.
