LIHU‘E — The 31st annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk is scheduled for 7 a.m., Saturday, a county news release states.
The Charity Walk will begin at the Historic County Building, head down Rice Street, turn left on Ho‘olako Street, go up Ka‘ana Street, left on Kapule Highway, left on Ahukini Road, left on Umi Street, and end at the Historic County Building.
To accommodate the Charity Walk, the Kaua‘i Police Department will close off Rice and Ho‘olako streets for about 45 minutes starting at 6:45 a.m. Umi Street will be closed from about 6:45 a.m. until the event is over.
Motorists will need to seek alternate routes to get to their destinations during the Charity Walk.
