The first 20 people to register for a composting class will receive a free composter, limited to one per household, said Sgt. Major William Barchers of the Kapa‘a Jr. ROTC program.
During the class that is scheduled for May 2 at Room R101 on the lower campus of Kapa‘a High School, Papaya’s Natural Foods will provide free organic snacks.
The composting class, sponsored by the Kapa‘a High School Jr. ROTC and the County of Kaua‘i, is free to the public and starts at 10 a.m.
