Dana Alexander “Alika” White of Las Vegas, Nev., died April 4, 2009, at age 62. Born June 30, 1946, in Lihu‘e, he was a florist at Albertson’s and former kumu hula.
He was preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Lillie “Kawika” Bender.
He is survived by partner David Hart; sisters Lawrena (Michael) Rodrigues of Hilo, Rowena (Antone) Chong Tim of Anahola, Iris (Sonny) Caycayon of Anahola; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kapa‘a; services begin at 11:15 a.m.
Burial to follow at Kekaha County Cemetery.

Clarence Medeiros
Clarence Medeiros of Kapa‘a died April 9, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 83. Born July 3, 1925, he was a retired diesel mechanic.
He was preceded in death by wife Elaine Medeiros and son Michael Medeiros.
He is survived by daughters Charlene Beach and Cynthia Medeiros, sisters Hilda De Silva and Violet Tate, brother Michael Madreau, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at St. Catherines Church in Kapa‘a; service at 9:45 a.m.

Walter Omoto
Walter Masao Omoto of Lihu‘e died April 1, 2009, at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu at age 72. Born Dec. 21, 1936, in Honolulu, he was a retired First Hawaiian Bank Kapa‘a branch manager.
He is survived by wife Jeannette M. of Lihu‘e; son Leslie M. (Ruth) of Lihu‘e; daughter Lisa T.O. (Lawrence) So of Honolulu; four grandchildren; brother Robert Y. (Rose) of Torrance, Calif.; and sister Alice A. (Fred) Chinen of Honolulu.
Service 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapa‘a.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers should be omitted.
