Lita Ragasa Racca died March 9, 2009, at her residence in Lihu‘e at age 83. Born Aug. 13, 1925, in the Philippines, she retired from Kauai Surf Hotel from the housekeeping department.
She was preceded in death by son John Racca Jr. and daughter Narcissa Racca.
She is survived by husband John Racca of Lihu‘e; brothers Anastacio Ragasa of the Philippines and Marcelo Ragasa of the Philippines; sister Anastacia Ragasa Rafanan of the Philippines; sister-in-law Marcelina Raqueno of the Philippines; sons Orlando (Suzette) Racca of Lihu‘e, Warren (Angie) Racca of Lihu‘e and Allen (Cyndy) Racca of Wailua; daughter Marilyn (Mel) Fernandez of Lihu‘e; hanai daughter Pearlita (Marcelo) Racca Baldonado of Kealia; grandchildren Paris (Jane) Racca, Yvette (Shawne) Racca, Matthew Fernandez, Michelle Fernandez, Maegan Fernandez, Mallory (AJ) Fernandez, Gerren (Kelli) Racca, Bryan Racca, Madison Allado-Racca, Aren (Lorijean) Racca, Alyssa (Chance) Racca, Austin Racca; hanai grandson Mark Baldonado; great-grandchildren Brandy Racca, Chace and Ceanne Baliaris, Hailee, Kianah and Kylah Racca, Kaikoa Racca and Koby Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation from 8-9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Immaculate Conception Church; services at 10 a.m.
Burial to follow at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Aloha attire is suggested.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Racca family with the arrangements.

Stanford K. Lindsey Sr. of Kapa‘a died March 16, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital age 67. Born March 10, 1942, he was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by wife Bernice Lindsey; sisters Stella (Raymond) Duarte, Healani Mandrigues and Debbie (Kula) Schumacher.
Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary; memorial service at 10:30 a.m.
Flowers should be omitted.
Casual attire is suggested.
