LIHU‘E — Laurie Anne Tamayo had one goal and Lily Fredericksen had a goal in each half to keep KSC-Na Anela’s record unblemished, Sunday.
KSC-Na Anela battled with Eastside Fusion, also undefeated, in the Girls Under 18 division of the Kaua‘i Soccer Association’s league and emerged victorious after relying on its quickness and speed on both ends of the field.
That game was followed by Go Green picking up its first season win on a 1-0 edge over Lokahi who last week handed the Eastside Fusion its first tie, breaking the Fusion’s string of two victories.
With those results, KSC-Na Anela sits atop the GU18 division with a 4-0 record and a dozen points followed by the Fusion with a 2-1-1 record and seven points. Lokahi is 1-3-1 for four points and Go Green celebrates a 1-4 record and three points.
Following five weeks of play, the Team Onipa‘a-Blue remains at the top of the GU14 division with a 4-1 record and a dozen points while the Eastside Lightning (4-0) is undefeated in the BU14 division with a dozen points.
The KSC-Blazing Angels are 5-0 in the GU12 division with 15 points and the Westside Falcons BU12 (4-0) are undefeated with a dozen points.
The Kaua‘i Sparks are 4-0-1 with 13 points, just one point ahead of Hilina‘i (4-0-0) in the GU10 division. In the BU10 division, the Westside Falcons BU10 and the KSC-Kilauea Kilas are tied for the lead with 3-0-1 records and 10 points.
In the eight-year-old division, the Hanalei Poi Boyz are undefeated at 4-0 and a dozen points.
KSA soccer games continue at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Vidinha Stadium fields, with the older divisions playing Sunday starting at noon.
