LIHU‘E — In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Monday, along with all refuse transfer stations, all HI-5 bottle redemption centers and the Kaua‘i Resource Center.
The Kekaha Landfill and Puhi Metals Recycling Center will remain open during the holiday, a county news release states.
Residential refuse pick-up will also continue as scheduled.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume Tuesday.
