Cleo Bermoy
Cleo Elizabeth Iaea Bermoy of Kalaheo died Dec. 24, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. She was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by father Joseph Keanu Iaea Sr., mother Mabel Kahikina Lii, son Wendell Bermoy, sister Mona Arthur, and grandsons Kauhi Simao and Tyrus Simao.
She is survived by husband Henry Bermoy Sr.; sons Henry (Patsy) Bermoy Jr. and Wayne Bermoy, both of Kalaheo; daughters Sandra (Richard) Quinsaat of Kalaheo, Stephanie Bermoy of Kalaheo, Colleen (Paul) Kapu of Kula, Maui, Trudy Silva (William Viernez) of Waikoloa, Big Island, Linda (Paul) Nicholas of England and Charlene (Ernie) Paden of Lawa‘i; brothers Joseph Iaea Jr., Huddy Iaea, Jonah Iaea, Christopher Iaea, Harold Iaea, Lani Iaea and Neki Iaea, all of Honolulu; sisters Nani Trelor of New Jersey, Olivia Miller of Las Vegas and Hedy Mae Iaea of Honolulu; and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service begins at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Lillian Kaninau
Lillian Rose Silva Ignacio Cook Kaninau of Kapahi died Dec. 28, 2008, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Born Jan. 25, 1928, on Kaua‘i, she worked in the travel industry for Hawaiian Adventures.
She was preceded in death by parents Ernest and Emilia Silva, brother Clarence Silva and sister Lydia Stevens Worth.
She is survived by sons Larry (Cyd) Ignacio Jr. of Honolulu, Richard “Dewey” Cook of San Francisco, Calif., and William R. Cook of Alabama; daughters Barbara Ann Ignacio Miller of Kaua‘i and Casey (Faneece) Cook of Honolulu; grandchildren Bobbie (Ioane) Wilson, Matthew (Nora) Bernabe, Brian Ignacio and Andrew Ignacio; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alfred Anderson
Alfred K. Anderson, Jr., died on Dec. 7, 2008, at his home in Pahoa, Hawai‘i, at the age of 58.
Born on Feb. 11, 1950, in Honolulu, he worked as a sergeant for the security department of Kamehameha Schools, Kaplama Campus.
He is survived by daughters Corinne K. Anderson and Denise K. Anderson; brothers Louis (Kathy) Anderson, John (Cathy) Anderson and Raymond Anderson; and sisters Madeline (Joe) Rutigliano and Helen Anderson.
Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Valleyview Section in Kaneohe, O‘ahu. A gathering will follow.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.

Isidra Aqui
Isidra Maglinte Aqui of Kapa‘a died Dec. 24, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 86.
Born May 14, 1922, in the Philippines, she was a retired sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by husband Simeon; sons Michael and Melvin Aqui; parents Demetrio and Marcela Maglinte; and sisters Dionisia Hangce, Adela Galvez, Jovita Domingo, Beatrice Tactay (Kenneth Pia).
She is survived by sisters Segunda Pia, Pat (Adriano) Mendoza, Cresencia (Sonny) Labuguen, Marcelia Maglinte, Gloria (Angel) Madrid and Gloria Aqui; grandchildren Jason Aqui and Yvette Aqui; great-grandchild Mozes Aqui; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a; Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherines Church Cemetery.
