LLoyd Pclarin Albinio Jr. of Kapa‘a died on Dec. 11, 2008, at the age of 30.
Born in Honolulu on Sept. 9, 1978, he was a landscaper.
Preceeded in death by grandfather James W. Wilson Sr. and step-father Bruce G. O’Donnell.
Survived by father Lloyd Albinio Sr.; mother Joni O’Donnell; son Lloyd Keanu Albinio, daughter Leiani Lynn Albinio; brothers Lloyd N. Albinio, Lloyd J. K. Albinio; maternal grandmother Betty Wilson; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held and visitation from 1:30 p.m. with services to begin at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kapa‘a. Aloha attire suggested. Family graciously declines flowers.
Inurnment will be private.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Albino family with arrangements.
Eiko Muranaka
Eiko Senda Muranaka died at her home on Dec. 16, 2008, at the age of 92.
Born on Nov. 13, 1916, on Kaua‘i, she was a type-setter for the Garden Island Publishing Company.
Preceeded in death by husband Minoru “Barney”; father William Junokichi Senda; Kayo Yamada Senda; brother George Senda; sister Ruth Akiko Senda.
Survived by siblings Kazuo (Norma) Senda, Flora Senda, John Senda; children Amy (Kenneth) Higa, Carol Hamamura, Bryan Muranaka and Albert (Lynette) Muranaka; grandchildren LeeAnn, Wendell, Jade, Garin, Kendall, Sherri Lee, and Allyn; great-grandchildren Matthew, Alyssa, Steven, Anthony, Devynn, Dominique, Jenna, Evan, and Jaquelyn; sister-in-law Mabel Senda. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. with services to follow on Jan. 3, 2009 at Lihu‘e Christian Church. Casual attire is suggested and family requests that flowers be omitted.
Arrangement are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary Ltd.
Louis Hanohano
Louis Hanohano died on Nov. 18, 2008, at Hale Makua, Kahalui, Maui, at the age of 95.
Born on Aug. 3, 1913, in Lawai, Kaua‘i he was a retired industrial mechanic and a licensed minister.
Preceeded in death by wife Joyce Nakamura Hanohano.
Survived by daughters Vivian (Jacob) Kamibayashi of Wailuku, Maui, Maude (John) Cumming of Pukalani, Maui, sons Daniel of Sacramento, Calif., Nathan (Deby) of Antioch, Calif., Kenneth of Pukalani, Maui, hanai daughter Elli (Pulou) Kirifi of Kihei, Maui; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Kapa‘a Assembly of God Church from 1:30 p.m. (no viewing) with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. on Dec. 21.
Funeral services were previously held at King’s Cathedral on Maui with burial at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Maui Mortuary.
