The final tallies are in, the second annual Football Frenzy competition has come to a close and what do you know, the season has come full circle.
Our first guest panelist has become the last Frenzy winner. Brian Cadiam of Kapa‘a finished 11-of-13 this week which came to end after Monday Night Football’s Tampa Bay/Carolina game. His two ballot flaws were the New York Giants/Philadelphia and Miami/Buffalo games.
I had already clinched the season win the week before because co-panelists Web master Richard Stein and radio personality Ron Wiley couldn’t mathematically surpass me.
But to finalize things, I finished the season 103-65. Stein, who had been trailing for most of the season, enjoyed a late run and tied Wiley last week.
All in all, it was a great season of friendly competition and hopefully everyone had fun.
Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who played.
There is still a lot of football to watch though. Be sure to watch as the University of Hawai‘i Warriors take on Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish in the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl.
