Paul Togioka and Anela Lauren will be special performers at this year’s annual National Tropical Botanical Gardens Holiday Craft Fair in Po‘ipu.
Lauren and Togioka will be entertaining at the event which opens to the public at 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Dec. 7, at the NTBG Visitors Center located near the Spouting Horn park.
Although the event is free, NTBG will be collecting canned goods as a donation during this season of giving, according to an NTBG press release.
Free samples of Kaua‘i Roastery Coffee will be available from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by complimentary 15-minute massages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Togioka will be on stage from 10 a.m. to noon followed by Lauren taking the stage at noon to 2 p.m.
The popular Christmas in the Garden event will offer original arts and crafts, fresh island flowers, locally grown produce, food and a keiki activity station along with Lauren’s performances.
Some of the baked goods available will be the Cheery Cherry Chocolate Chip Bread and Broke Da Mouth cookies
Lunch will be available from Susan Allyn’s Savage Shrimp or Heather Thompson’s Monster Tacos.
Angela Whitlatch, the NTBG Visitor Center manager, expects a large turnout this year.
“The fair continues to grow in popularity with visitors and locals who come to do their holiday shopping, meet friends and simply enjoy a day in the beautiful garden setting,” Whitlatch said. “We have some excellent Neighbor Island artisans coming and a lot of wildly-popular items.”
