An estimated 1,100 attendees from Kekaha to Haena will meet tomorrow for a program on finding truthful answers in a tumultuous world. The theme for this assembly day is based on Colossians 4:17: “Keep Watching the Ministry … That You Fulfill It.” The program is from 9:40 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the War Memorial Convention Hall. There is no cost and it is open to the public. Discussions focus on trustworthy advice and truth from God’s word. Witnesses believe that all who will attend will benefit from the practical information presented. There are eight congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Kaua‘i.
Highlights of the day’s program include presentations by Theodore Jaracz, a representative from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in New York. His two talks are titled: “How we recommend ourselves as ministers” and “Highly esteem your ministry.”
Witnesses will also welcome those who join their ranks by being baptized in a simple ceremony during the morning session. Witnesses view baptism in the name of the holy spirit as vital to receiving God’s guidance and continued blessing. Based on last years turn out to this annual event, the Witnesses look forward to welcoming many non-Witnesses to the convention.
