The 16th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival concludes its statewide tour tomorrow on Kaua‘i. It began in June on Maui.
This free event is from noon to 6 p.m. at Hilton Kaua‘i Beach Resort. Featured artists include: John Cruz, Brother Noland, Makana, Dennis Kamakahi, Michael Kaawa, LT Smooth, Walter Keale, David Kahiapo, Stephen Inglis, Paul Togioka, Donald Kaulia, George Kuo, Danny Carvalho and Cindy Combs.

The Ki-ho’alu Foundation is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of preserving and perpetuating the indigenous art form of Ki-ho’alu (slack key guitar), with roots that extend back to 1830 on the island of Hawai‘i.
