PeeWee

Earlier in the day, Kelson Andrade threw for two touchdowns and Kyren Rapacon ran for two scores as the Koloa Rams took a 29-7 win over the Kapa‘a Eagles PW.
With the win, the Koloa Rams keeps its undefeated record intact at 9-0 and 18 points to seal the PeeWee championship.
Kapa‘a drops to 5-3 and 10 points for second place. Hanapepe improves to 3-5 and 6 points for third place while the Patriots are 0-9.
Delos Reyes connected with Patrick Strickland on an 8-yard scoring pass early in the first quarter and iced that win with his PAT boot.
Coming off an 8-0 halftime lead, Delos Reyes peeled off scores of 20 yards and 11 yards, respectively, in the third quarter for the Colts’ PW scoring.
Rapacon opened the Koloa scoring in the first game of the day, charging for 2 yards and following that score by running in the point-after at the 2:00 mark of the first quarter.
That ignited a scoring flurry as Andrade opened the second quarter on a 72-yard score to Tystin Gummerus. Rapacon closed the frame on a 56-yard scoot to paydirt at the 3:39 mark. James Bukoski booted the PAT for both those scores.
In the third quarter, Andrade hit Gummerus for a 13-yard score midway through the frame.
Edsel Lactaotao prevented the shutout for the Eagles as he scored on a 22-yard run with Leevi Bethel running in the point-after.
Midgets
A 22-0 win by the Lihu‘e Patriots Midget team over the Kapa‘a Eagles and a Hanapepe Colts Midget 26-6 win over the Kekaha Chargers have both winners within 2 points of each other.
Hanapepe, who beat Lihu‘e last week, holds the lead with a 7-1 record and 14 points, hotly challenged by Lihu‘e at 6-2 and a dozen points in the league standings.
Kapa‘a drops to 2-6 and 4 points followed by the Kekaha Chargers a 1-7 and 2 points.

Hanapepe capped its first possession on the 15-yard scoring hit to Parongao at the 8:45 mark.
Rhandy Compoc-Dela Cruz booted the PAT for an 8-0 lead that stood for just about three minutes before Jae hit Kenneth Tacazon for a 69-yard score, ending the first quarter on a 14-0 lead.
Parongao’s score early in the second quarter gave the Colts a 20-0 halftime lead.
Acetyn Emayo, playing both sides of the ball, found Brian Ceballos on a 22-yard scoring pass in the final period before Jae hit Shylen-John Keuma on a 27-yard scoring hit to close the books at the 2:16 mark.

The Lihu‘e Patriots Midget squad will be facing the Kekaha Chargers starting at 10 a.m. while the Kapa‘a Eagles will be up against the Hanapepe Colts starting at 4 p.m.
