Kaua‘i students who participated in the All-Kaua‘i Band Ku Kilakila that participated in the 2005 Parade of Roses have been invited to a reunion, said Larry McIntosh.
Corky Conzonire, president of the Parade of Roses, and his wife Marilyn will be touring Kaua‘i and will meet with students and parents taking part in the 2009 Parade of Roses in Pasedena, California, Jan. 1, 2009.
That meeting will take place on Nov. 14 at the Kaua‘i High School Band Room starting at 7 p.m.
McIntosh, the band director of the 2005 All-Kaua‘i Band Ku Kilakila, would like all band students, parents and the 2005 parent team to take this opportunity to reunite and celebrate with Conzonire.
Robert Kawamura, a part of the 2005 Parade of Roses band, said there are some Kaua‘i band students that will be participating in the 2009 parade as part of the Kamehameha Schools ensemble.
