Tropical fish are just one of the items available at the ‘Ele‘ele School Craft and Book Fair coming Saturday.
Doors open at 9 a.m. and will include more than 30 vendors offering a variety of items such as handcrafted jewelry, cards, glassware, identification holders, appliqued T-shirts, quilts, University of Hawai‘i apparel, and more.
One of the unique facets is the sale of tropical fish which is always a hit with customers to the event.
Additionally, shoppers can whet their appetites from the assorted food and beverage items which are sold to help raise funds for student field trips and hands-on activities.
In addition to the crafts, a country store will offer assorted plants, fruits, vegetables and other items donated to the school.
The school library is the site for the Book Fair which will offer a variety of new children’s paperback books for all reading levels. Additionally, award-winning books, popular new titles and classic favorites will be available.
The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
