The girls volleyball playoff for the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation title is set for 7 p.m., on Wednesday at a site to be determined Saturday.
The girls from Kaua‘i High School were the undisputed, undefeated winners of Round 1. It’s the best run the school has enjoyed in the past four years.
Waimea High School bounced back from a 3-3 Round 1 record to go undefeated in Round 2. Three of Waimea’s girls were members of last year’s KIF championship team and the Menehune won two championships in a row. Just two years ago, Waimea finished third at the state championship tournament.
A coin toss determining the site of the game will be Saturday night after the final set of regular-season games.
