Qi gong Grandmaster Hong will give an introductory free lecture on feng shui and its relationship to enhancing prosperity, success and health from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 24, at the Qi Center in Lihu‘e. On Oct. 25, Grandmaster Hong will continue with more feng shui principles during a benefit workshop on vitality and transcending stress.
Feng shui works with the energies of the environment and how they affect every aspect of life. It is a science that combines mankind’s energy with the energy of nature and Earth. The qi (life force energy) that flows through the body also flows through homes and workplaces. With a 4,000-year-old history in China, feng shui is considered a science and art form. For good health, prosperity, and relationships, a home or business is to have good qi flow surrounding it, as well as within it. In this lecture, Grandmaster Hong takes the science-based elements of each of the five feng shui schools and provides practical tools for application to daily life.
The energy of the present economic conditions in the world are based on energy patterns that have been repeating for over 4,000 years, Hong said. Participants will gain an understanding of the energetic influences currently at play.
One of just a few Qi Gong Grandmasters in the United States, and a western trained medical doctor, Grandmaster Hong has over 40 years of experience in the seven systems of qi gong.
