Justice and Faith Collier, relationship counselors and authors of the newly published book, “The Man Woman Dilemma: Relationship Truths for Troubled Times,” will give a presentation at Talk Story Book Store in Hanapepe tonight.
The talk will be followed by a question and answer period and book signings until 9 p.m.
This dynamic, confrontational and hilarious conversational book addresses issues that are common to men and women — such as power struggles, decision-making, finances, jealousy, communication, intimacy, commitment and mutual empowerment.

6:30 p.m. tomorrow
Halau Ka Lei O Mokihana’s 11th annual ho‘ike tomorrow is under the direction of kumu hula Leinaa‘ala Pavao Jardin. More then 50 students will take the stage at the Kaua‘i Community College Performing Arts Center. There will be a special guest appearance by Hoku Zuttermeister, 2008 Na Hoku Hano Hano Award winner. Many songs recorded from his “‘Aina Kupuna” CD will be performed. Craft displays and a food booth will be available beginning at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and sold at the following outlets: Kujo’s, Vicky’s Fabrics, Koloa Wine Shop, Mokihana Travel and Na Pali Explorer. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
Ballroom dance club anniversary ball
5:30 p.m. tomorrow
Members of the Hanapepe Chapter of the Kaua’i Ballroom Dance Club invite the public to a 4th Anniversary Ball at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Kaua‘i Marriott Hotel. “Rock and Roll is Here to Stay” is the theme for the evening’s festivities which feature 1950s decor and a selection of oldies but goodies music for everyone’s dancing enjoyment. The event includes dinner followed by general dancing, routine performances by Lihu‘e and Hanapepe chapters, plus guest performances.

Lihu‘e Lutheran Church will be having its annual craft fair and bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nov. 8. The fee is $50 per table or $75 for two tables.
