Frank Sullivan will be available for a book signing of his first publication, ‘Life is More than Nine Innings’ from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gaylord’s Restaurant in the living room. There will be a no host bar, a punch bowl and pupu. Frank Sullivan has been a resident of Kaua‘i for 44 years. The book is made up of 125 one page memories including being a combat soldier in Korea, pitching for the Boston Red Sox for eight years and then being a PGA professional managing the operations of the Kaua‘i Surf Hotel, Westin, Shinwa (Kauai Lagoons) and finally Grove Farm. It also has personal pictures from all events. Sullivan was the first to be inducted into Burbank High School’s newly formed sports hall of fame this year and will be inducted into the Boston Red Sox’s Hall of fame in November.
