Ann Ayabe
Ann Satoko Ayabe of Kaneohe, O‘ahu, died Sept. 7, 2008, at Kaiser Permanente Foundation Moanalua Medical Center at the age of 73. Born April 17, 1935, in Koloa, she was retired from the Hawai‘i Department of Education and a retired Waiahole Elementary School teacher.
She is survived by husband Dr. Harold Itsuo Ayabe of Kaneohe, O‘ahu; daughters Dr. Cheryl (Randal) Milanio of Kahului, Maui, and Dr. Sharon Ayabe of Kalaheo; mother Kamie Nishihara of Koloa; sisters Edna (Keith) Holdeman of Kalaheo, Gloria (Jack) Young of Los Angeles, Calif., and Thelma (Don) Chikuma of Seattle, Wash.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; funeral service begins at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested and the family requests that flowers be omitted.

Bernice “Aunty Bea” Kaieie Keliihoomalu McKeague of Hilo died Sept. 5, 2008, at her residence at the age of 64. Born Jan. 6, 1944, in Honolulu, she was a retired licensed practical nurse for the former Hilo Hospital, Interim Health, Hui Malama and Na Pua Noeau.
She is survived by daughters Kanoelehua (Robert) Keanaaina of Kailua-Kona and Sonnette Mahealani (Kevin) Dayton of Hilo; son Darryl (Jean) McKeague of Mountain View, Hawai‘i; brother Jerome Keliihoomalu of Waiehu, Maui; sisters Caroline Keliihoomalu of Keaau and Charlotte “Cookie” Keliihoomalu-Alapai of Hilo; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Haili Congregational Church; a celebration of her life is planned at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Wesley Moribe
Wesley Hiroshi Moribe of Kapa‘a died Sept. 17, 2008, at home at the age 50. Born July 26, 1958, in Waimea, he was a maintenance man with Kauai Hilton, also a fisherman and farmer.
He is survived by wife Rita Ann Moribe; sons Wesley Shane Moribe, Rex Ethan Moribe and Ryan Mitsuo Moribe, all of Kapa‘a; brothers Stanley (Maxine) Moribe of California, George (Merl) Moribe of Pearl City, O‘ahu, and Dennis Moribe of San Diego, Calif.; sister Janie (Collin) Kunimura of San Francisco, Calif.; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
