Abraham Mundon
Abraham K. Mundon died Aug. 25, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Born Feb. 3, 1916, in Kapa‘a, he was retired as a captain with the Kaua‘i Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by wife Lillian Fu Mundon; sons Michael Lawrence, Michael Hoonani and Lawrence; brothers Francis Mundon and George Mundon; sisters Norma Lyons, Thelma Bush and Miriam Wong; son-in-law Mel Prim; daughters-in-law Diane Mundon McCluskey and Annette Mundon; and great-granddaughter Jayda Mundon.
He is survived by son James “Bully” Mundon of Lihu‘e; daughters Helene (Lee) Pulley of Texas and Judy Prim of Kapa‘a; daughter-in-law Carylee Mundon; brothers-in-law Charles Fu and Edwin (Linda) Fu; sisters-in-law Ellen (Thomas) Kaneakua, Anna Pacheco and Hattie Baptiste; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held with visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Kapa‘a First Hawaiian Church; services begin at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Family suggests casual or aloha attire.

Betty Key
Betty J. Key of Honolulu died Aug. 13, 2008, at Wahiawa Hospital at the age of 69. Born July 3, 1939, in Honolulu, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by father Richard H. Key Sr., mother Vivian A. Key and companion Gersham Waiau.
She is survived by sons Ronald (Laura) and Patrick (Lisa) Brustowicz, Nelson (Myrna), Frankie and Lawrence Rita; daughters Gloria and Sheila Rita; 14 grandchildren; brothers Arthur and Richard Key; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will begin at noon on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Salt Pond Pavilion by Keiki Pond; a celebration of her life will follow. Casual attire is suggested. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
Ashes will be scattered at a later date.
Benhur Nono
Benhur M. Nono of Kapa‘a died Aug. 26, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 42. He was born March 23, 1966, in the Philippines.
He is survived by wife Isabela Nono; children Joan Nono, Jonathan Nono, Frences May Nono and Benhur Nono; parents Ernesto Nono and Virginia Nono; brothers Ronald (Bhea) Nono, Gener Nono and John Nono; sisters Susan Nono Aranda, Mary Jane (Joel) Pullaga and Giezel Nono; grandmother Felecitas Nono; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
Memorial services and visitation with the family will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Saint Catherine’s Church; Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.

Masamu Hamamura
Masamu Hamamura of Koloa died Aug. 19, 2008, at Castle Medical Center at the age of 96. Born June 20, 1912, in Koloa, he was retired as a carpenter.
He is survived by sons Earl and Lloyd; daughters Kathleen Hee and Lenora Shin; brothers Shigeto, Jackson, Harry and Bunto; sisters Harriet Iseri, Gladys Kobashigawa and Toiko; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Koloa Hongwanji. Casual attire is suggested.
Tokiko Yoshioka
Tokiko Yoshioka of Hanapepe died Aug. 27, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. Born Feb. 26, 1920, in Waialua, O‘ahu, she was a retired school health aide with the State of Hawai‘i.
She was preceded in death by husband Kazuto Yoshioka.
She is survived by sons Les (Mattie) Yoshioka of ‘Ele‘ele and Myles Yoshioka of Hanapepe, daughter Joy Chandler of Salinas, Calif., three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel; service at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers should be omitted.

Robert Rabago
Robert M. Rabago of Kekaha died Aug. 26, 2008, at Waimea Care Center at the age of 96. Born June 2, 1912, in the Philippines, he was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by wife Rose Rabago; sons Robert (Pat) Rabago, Marvin (Patti) Rabago and Richard (Sharon) Rabago; daughter Jocelin (Dean) Uyehara; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will begin 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Westside Christian Center; services will follow at 11 a.m.
