Just a few days after his first PGA win at the Reno-Tahoe Open, Honolulu’s Parker McLachlin was on the course again, this time for a major. McLachlin had a rugged start on his front nine at the PGA Championship which included three bogeys and one double. He was able to avoid falling too far down the leaderboard with seven consecutive pars on the back. McLachlin finished at 6-over 76.
Kane‘ohe’s Dean Wilson shot a decent round to finish at 2-over 72 and four shots off leaders Robert Karlsson and Jeev Milkha Singh.
