The Kaua‘i Music Festival took place at the Hilton Kaua‘i Beach Resort in Lihu‘e last weekend.
This four-day festival consisted of classes for musicians and two evening concerts. Friday night featured Na Hoku and Grammy-winning artists Roland Cazimero, John Cruz, Charles Brotman, Walter Keale, Paula Fuga, David Pack, Ben Moody, Alissa Moreno and others.
Now in its sixth year, the festival showcased music from Hawai‘i and the Mainland.
Friday’s theme was “Island Music Night.” Saturday’s “Gala Concert” featured workshop participants as well as Mainland artists David Pack (formerly of Ambrosia), Ben Moody (founding member of the group Evanescence), Alissa Moreno (recording artist and songwriter from the TV series “Army Wives”) and others.
